hi everyone,
i appreciate all the support over the years. my biggest goal of this year is to find more sustainable packaging options and keeping what i can as natural as possible
just wanted to let you in on what i'm hoping for this year. it felt so hypocritical wanting to be so environmentally conscious and then have to use plastic packaging because the metals that i was using previously could tarnish faster. once you've purchased your jewellery, take good care of the metal by keeping the jewellery in a air-tight container of some kind, like with all metal. silver polish clothes and other remedies can also work really well.
i'm hoping in the future to collaborate with another jeweller, to experiment with some other styles as well. i enjoy the wire work that i do, but i would like to work with someone on making pendants where the seaglass is cast in metal. i like the pieces that i make without wire too, being able to see and feel the seaglass is the first attraction for anyone when it comes to seaglass. colours, texture, shape it's truly incredible
also, just more positivity. what i'm doing here with this company may not be changing the planet, or doing the most that i could be doing, but it's something and it's progress and that's good. i always want to be doing more and i plan to
thanks for reading. talk to you soon
